In our site you can search for the film category of your preference. For every film there is a short description as well as the original cover with the screenshots for each scene of the film to facilitate your selection. Also, for some films we have added a short trailer. So you will always find the videos that correspond to your interests.

Just select your favorite film and fill out a voucher with SXBill. Then you can inmediately download the film and if you like you can also go watching it on your PC at the same time. For that task you need Adobe Flash Player.

What do I need for MovieDSL? - System requirements

Windows PC

For Windows-Computers it's enough a Starndard-PC with graphic and sound cards. Almost every computer built in the last 5 years meet these requirements. To play the videos you just need to have installed the standard "Adobe Flash Player". Below you will find a link to the latest version.

Apple Macintosh PC

Our videos can also play on a Apple Macintosh computer, needing only the actual graphic and sound card. "Adobe Flash Player" can be used on a Mac, but you can also use a cross-platform e.g. "VLC Media Player". Below you will find links to them.

DVD-Player

Of course you could also burn the videos to a CD/DVD with an appropriate program and watch them on the TV over a DVD player or on your computer. Please bear in mind, that your DVD player has to be able to run films in MPG4 format with H.264-Codec.

Concerning Browser / Internet:

To guarantee the highest quality of our videos, our videos have not been so compressed and have therefore a significant file size. To download we recomend at least a DSL connection. JavaScript must be activated on your browser and cookies from movie-dsl.com must be accepted. Both are harmless and don't represent a threat to the security of your computer in the net. The licencing and the downloading of the film work when you allow JavaScript and Cookies.

Software-Downloads:

What should I bear in mind whenever I want to burn videos dowloaded from MovieDSL?

There are specific programs with which you can burn the films or scenes in DVD format so you can watch them on a standard DVD-Player. Many of these programs are for free, though you should always have basic knowledge about the different video-formats.

The software Software Xilisoft MPEG to DVD Converter 3.0 is an easy, quick and intuitive program to create DVD-videos, though it's not for free.

A free program to create DVD-videos is FAVC.

And of course that the MP4-files can be burnt on a DVD with programs like, i.e. Nero (not for free) or ImgBurn (Download here >>). In this way, they can only play on the PC or on a DVD player that supports H.264-Codec.
